Spokane’s beauty would not be complete without the richness of our parks and gardens. Family fun and exploration for any age and the majority of them are free of charge. 

Finch Arboretum:  More than 2,000 ornamental shrubs and trees, all labeled.  This is a beautiful botanical and tree garden you must see. For more information www.spokaneparks.org

Manito Park:  Spokane’s finest park and a showcase of beauty in any season featuring the formal rose gardens, Renaissance-style Duncan gardens, the Gaiser Conservatory and the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Memorial Gardens.   This park features many areas for family picnics, children’s play areas, public tennis courts and a duck pond.  More information available at www.spokaneparks.org

Riverside State Park:  This 10,000 acre park features biking and hiking trails, picnic areas, camping .  Winter sports include cross country skiing and sledding.  This is a must visit park.
